GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (GTC)

Welcome to our online store! Please read these General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) carefully before finalizing your order, as by submitting your order, you explicitly agree to and accept the contents of this GTC.

3. PRODUCTS FOR SALE AND PRICES
3.1. This online store sells custom-developed educational flashcard packs for children (available in 3 different variations). The specific characteristics and detailed descriptions of the products can be found on their respective product pages.
3.2. The flashcard packs may include a free, downloadable Android companion application ("Companion App") providing additional features. Downloading and using the app is entirely voluntary, incurs no extra fees, and does not collect any personal data.
3.3. Prices displayed on the website are indicated in Hungarian Forints (HUF). The Seller operates under a tax-exempt status (Alanyi Adómentes - AAM) for small businesses under Hungarian tax law, meaning the displayed prices do not contain VAT (gross and net values are identical), and no additional VAT will be added to the prices. Displayed prices do not include shipping costs.

4. ORDERING PROCESS AND CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT
4.1. The buyer initiates the purchase through the Shopify system by adding products to the cart and entering the required shipping and billing information.
4.2. At the end of the checkout process, the Buyer must actively tick separate checkboxes to explicitly accept this GTC and the Privacy Policy.
4.3. The order is finalized by clicking the button labeled "Megrendelés fizetési kötelezettséggel" (Order with obligation to pay) or an equivalent clear label. This action constitutes a binding offer on the part of the Buyer.
4.4. Upon receipt of the order, Shopify's system automatically sends an order acknowledgment e-mail to the Buyer. This e-mail is a technical confirmation and does not constitute acceptance of the offer. The contract is officially concluded when the Seller sends a separate e-mail notifying the Buyer that the product has been dispatched/handed over to the courier service, or when the order is manually confirmed.

5. PAYMENT AND SHIPPING CONDITIONS
5.1. Payment Methods: Payment in the online store is processed online via credit/debit card through the secure international payment processing system of Shopify Payments / Stripe. The Seller does not see and does not store any credit card details.
5.2. Invoicing: Legally compliant electronic invoices are generated via the Billingo system and delivered to the Buyer via e-mail.
5.3. Shipping Terms: Delivery of products is carried out via third-party courier services / logistics partners (e.g., GLS or other contracted courier companies, parcel locker providers).
5.4. Delivery Time: Delivery of ordered products typically takes place within 2 to 7 business days from the confirmation of the order. In the event of any delay, the Seller shall immediately inform the Buyer.

6. CONSUMER'S RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (GOVERNMENT DECREE 45/2014. (II. 26.))
6.1. The Buyer (provided they qualify as a Consumer under the Hungarian Civil Code) has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the receipt of the product.
6.2. The Buyer may exercise their right of withdrawal by submitting an unambiguous statement to that effect (sent via e-mail to attila.varjas@gmail.com) or by using the online withdrawal function/form provided on the website (the receipt of which will be automatically acknowledged by the Seller).
6.3. In the event of withdrawal, the Buyer is obliged to return the product at their own expense without delay, but no later than 14 days from the communication of the withdrawal statement, to the Seller's address at 2120 Dunakeszi Határ street 29.
6.4. Liability for Depreciation (2026 Regulations): The Buyer is liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product. If the cards are damaged, incomplete, or written on, the Seller may charge this depreciation to the Buyer or deduct it from the refunded amount.
6.5. Refunds: Upon receiving the returned product (or upon presentation of proof of return), the Seller shall refund the full amount paid by the Buyer (including the original delivery fee) without delay, but no later than 14 days, using the same payment method used by the Buyer.
6.6. The free Android companion app does not form part of the purchase agreement; therefore, downloading or deleting it does not affect the right of withdrawal regarding the physical product.

7. WARRANTY (IMPLIED WARRANTY, PRODUCT WARRANTY)
In the event of defective performance by the Seller, the Buyer may assert warranty claims in accordance with the rules of the Hungarian Civil Code (Ptk.).
7.1. Implied Warranty (Kellékszavatosság): The Buyer may request the repair or replacement of the defective product, unless the fulfillment of the chosen request is impossible or would involve disproportionate additional costs for the Seller. If repair or replacement was not requested or could not be requested, the Buyer may ask for a proportional reduction of the price or may withdraw from the contract (withdrawal is not permitted for minor defects). The Buyer must report the defect immediately after discovery (for consumers, notification within 2 months is considered timely). Within 1 year from the date of delivery, there are no conditions for enforcing claims other than reporting the defect, provided the Buyer proves the product was purchased from the Seller. After 1 year, the burden of proof shifts to the Buyer to prove that the defect already existed at the time of delivery.
7.2. Product Warranty (Termékszavatosság): In the event of a defect in a movable property (product), the Consumer may, at their choice, enforce the rights specified in point 7.1 or assert a product warranty claim. As a product warranty claim, the Buyer may only request the repair or replacement of the defective product directly from the manufacturer/Seller acting as the manufacturer. A product is considered defective if it does not meet the quality requirements in force at the time of its market launch or does not possess the characteristics specified in the description. This right can be enforced within 2 years from the date the product was placed on the market.
7.3. Mandatory Guarantee (Jótállás): Given that the products do not fall under the statutory scope of mandatory guarantees for durable consumer goods under Hungarian law, the Seller is not subject to any mandatory guarantee obligations for these items.

8. COMPLAINT HANDLING AND LEGAL REDRESS
8.1. The Buyer may submit objections or complaints regarding the product or the Seller’s activities via the contact details provided in Point 1 (e-mail or post). The Seller will respond to the complaint in writing within 30 days of receipt.
8.2. If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, the Consumer may turn to the Arbitration Board (Békéltető Testület) competent based on their place of residence or stay.

8.3. The Consumer may also lodge a complaint with the regionally competent Government Office's Consumer Protection Department (Kormányhivatal Fogyasztóvédelmi Főosztály).
